So after 2 days in Paris, we were ready to jump into the BIFFF ! I will admit that we didn’t really know what the festival would look like. In Montreal, we have Fantasia. It’s one of the biggest and best Fantastic Festival around the globe….so our expectation wasn’t really huge. Well guest what, the BIFFF is HUGE !!!!! First of all, the fest location is amazing. Tour & Taxi is really an urban experience. It’s really an old and beautiful building like everyone love ! When you enter the fest, it’s like a really big convention. You can buy some books, some DVDs, some painting ect. The only thing sad about it is that there’s not enough vendors ! The festival have one super big screening room (more then 1000 people I’m pretty sure). It’s always full. We did discover a different and strange way to be in a festival….Read more
So our second and last day in Paris was really amazing ! First of all we did like everyone does and went to walk on Les Champs Élisés, see the Arc de triomphe and the Tour Eiffel. After all this cute things, we went the Cinémathéque Française to check out the exhibition on Stanley Kubrick. It was terrific ! It’s really the best exhibit I ever saw about someone ! We were there for about 2h30minutes and coulded stay another 2 hours for sure. There’s sooooooo many things to read about and to learn. And we finish the night with a friend of our, VJPillow, in a god and nice restaurant. Tomorrow, BIFFF here we come !

It’s kind of weird to leave Montreal at 7h30 and to arrived in here 6 hours later….at 8h30am !!!! So right now i’m writting this very little ticket at 9h00am, but back in Montreal it’s only 3h00am. So….Paris !!! What a terrific city !! We were really lucky…Read more

I know that sounds diplomatic and cheesy, but in this case it’s very true. Trust me. I watch a lot of shorts and did not expect my job here to be so hard. Props all around”….”Here’s my top three with a couple honorable mentions. My judging criteria was simply to see what each entry did with the five minutes they had, and how creatively they incorporated the mask, since it was the point of the whole thing.
